This supercharger kit fits the 96-03 Dodge Ram, Dakota, Durango, and Jeep model vehicles. This is not just a Vortech kit mounted on new brackets. We have totally re-engineered this blower kit. The original Vortech system had some issues such as belt traction, bracket rigidity, and the most important issue was how slow the boost would rise.

We set out to redesigned the entire system and fix these issues. The supercharger is now driven by a one piece blower drive pulley that has a standard size pulley diameter to drive the factory accessories and an 8" 10 rib pulley to drive the supercharger. The enlarged diameter allows for the use of larger diameter blower pulleys and the belt width increases the blower traction. The blower bracket thickness was also increased from a 1/4" steel plate to a 3/4" aluminum plate. This stopped the blower flexing under boost unloading the belt and causing slippage.

Now, if you like the performance of a roots style blower with the benefits of a centrifugal supercharger this system is for you. The boost is instantaneous due to the increased impeller speed. The amount of boost that enters the engine is controlled through precision orifice plates located in the air filter. You never have to change the pulley diameter to increase or decrease boost. You can also have a selectable boost setting for a street and race configuration. We offer two power levels, level 1 will support up to 500 RWHP and level 2 will support up to 700RWHP.
